I'm a cheerleader for Wix! Like, full on Navarro cheerleader for this website design platform. I started web designing on Wordpress. I had no clue what I was doing, and Wordpress did not make it easy. Lots of time on Google and YouTube trying to learn the system. But, the first time I used Wix, I was doing back flips.
Here’s the thing – most of the template-based website platforms out there today are pretty great. I’m not here to compare or talk you out of using something other than Wix. I haven’t personally used Shopify, or SquareSpace, but I’ve read a lot of great things about the platform.
That said, I’ve been using Wix personally, creating Wix websites for my clients for a little over 3 months. And I seriously couldn’t be happier. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and is just all around a wonderful base to create a stunning website.
1. Easy to Edit
This is the #1 reason I love Wix so much. NO CODING! NO PLUG-INS!
There are countless other reasons to use the platform, but the design freedom it gives you is just amazing. Whatever idea you have in mind for your website, you can make it happen with Wix.
Wix has drag and drop options, one-click add-ons, and a user-friendly interface that any DIYer can figure out. You can even add animation, an online shop, and many other additional functionalities. Wix allows you to easily swap out photos, add videos, connect your social media, and more - you can literally customize almost everything on your site
Having trouble finding the right picture, icon, illustration? No problem. Wix offers thousands of photos from their site and Unsplash. You are bound to find something. They also offer hundreds of icons and cool illustrations. You're saving a chunk of change right there.
You truly can’t find this level of design freedom with any other platform, unless you are custom coding your site. And who has the time, or the money for that!

3. Mobile Responsive
I can't stress this enough, your website MUST be mobile responsive. More than 50% of web traffic comes from mobile. If you site is not mobile friendly, your potential customer will just click away. Wix has nailed this down, by ensuring that any website designed on it's platform is mobile-friendly and responsive. There is no need to spend time to create a custom mobile website because it's already done for you!

4. Wix has a built-in SEO
Anyone launching a website has probably read up on SEO. It is just as important has design and content. But, if your eyes have glazed over reading articles about SEO, Keyword Searches, and "how-tos," Wix offers an SEO wiz to help you get your SEO setup and connected to Google immediately. I-M-M-E-D-I-A-T-E-L-Y. You'll be up and running before your coffee gets cold. The hours this saves you is worth it.
If you’re new to SEO, Wix is definitely for you. Besides keyword research that’s particular to your business, there's no outside research you have to do – it’s all right there within Wix.
Well, there you have it! Wix's ease of use, affordability, and integrations have knocked my socks off and I absolutely do not regret my decision one bit! I want to share it with as many entrepreneurs as possible.
